1. Who we are and acceptance
Madinaty Deals (madinatydeals.com) is a local marketplace and community-discovery service (“Madinaty Deals”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Contact email: [email protected].
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply when you visit, register for, post on, contact a provider through, or otherwise use the Madinaty Deals website and related services (the “Platform”). By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and any additional rules shown for a particular feature. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Continued use after an update means that you accept the updated Terms.
2. What Madinaty Deals does
The Platform helps people in and around Madinaty discover, publish and discuss local listings, second-hand goods, properties for sale or rent, services, local businesses and paid advertising placements. We provide a place for users to find one another; we are not the seller, buyer, landlord, tenant, service provider, delivery rider or broker in a transaction between users.
We do not take possession of goods, manage delivery, hold purchase money, guarantee a service, verify ownership of an item, or guarantee the accuracy of an advertisement. Any transaction, payment, appointment, delivery or dispute is between the relevant users.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be legally able to enter into these Terms under applicable law.
- Users under 18 may use the Platform only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, and must not independently enter a transaction where the law does not allow it.
- You must provide accurate information and keep your contact details current.
- You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and for protecting passwords, one-time codes and account access.
- Advertiser IDs, account identifiers and payment references are assigned by us. You may not sell, transfer or impersonate an account.
4. User advertisements and content
You are responsible for every title, description, price, photograph, video, document, phone number, WhatsApp number and other material you submit (“User Content”). Your User Content must be truthful, current, relevant to Madinaty or the selected service area, and legally permitted.
You confirm that you own or have permission to use the User Content and that it does not violate another person’s privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark or other rights. You must obtain consent before uploading an identifiable person’s image or personal information.
You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant Madinaty Deals a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, resize, format, display, moderate and promote that User Content as reasonably needed to operate and market Madinaty Deals. This licence ends for ordinary display when the content is removed, except where retention is required for safety, legal, dispute or security purposes.
5. Image safety and moderation
Images and other uploads may be checked by automated safety tools and, where necessary, human review. An upload may be rejected, hidden or placed on hold before publication. We may retain limited moderation records, such as a content identifier and decision, to protect the community and investigate abuse.
We prohibit pornographic, sexually explicit, nude or sexually suggestive material, sexual services, exploitation of minors, and imagery intended to sexualise or endanger a minor. We may immediately lock the advertisement and suspend the account when we reasonably believe this rule has been breached. Permanent account bans may be applied for confirmed, repeated or severe violations. We may provide an appeal route where appropriate, but an appeal does not require us to republish content.
6. Prohibited content and behaviour
You must not use the Platform to publish, request, promote, transmit or facilitate:
- illegal goods or services, controlled drugs, weapons, stolen goods, counterfeit goods, fraud, money laundering or unlawful gambling;
- pornography, nudity, sexual exploitation, adult services or content that harms or targets minors;
- hate, threats, harassment, stalking, defamation, incitement to violence or discriminatory content;
- false, misleading, bait-and-switch or impersonating advertisements;
- content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy or other rights;
- spam, pyramid or Ponzi schemes, unsolicited marketing, malware, phishing or harmful links;
- URLs, email addresses or social-media handles in tutoring and education service descriptions. Use the dedicated social-account field for one supported profile link.
- multiple copies of the same listing, listings in the wrong category, or listings outside the stated local area without a legitimate reason;
- another person’s phone number, address, identity document or other personal information without permission;
- scraping, automated posting, automated flagging, reverse engineering or attempts to bypass Platform security.
We may remove or restrict content, limit posting privileges, lock an advertisement, suspend an account, permanently ban a user, preserve relevant records, or report suspected illegal conduct to the appropriate authority.
7. Local services and business profiles
Service providers do not have to be Madinaty residents unless a particular category explicitly says otherwise. Providers are responsible for their qualifications, licences, prices, availability, service quality and compliance with Egyptian law. Users should independently check credentials and agree the scope, timing and price before a service begins.
For an in-person service, consider arranging the first meeting in Madinaty or another convenient, busy public place when practical. This is a community-safety and convenience recommendation for everyone, regardless of where the provider lives or whether the profile is verified. A verification badge is useful context, not a guarantee.
Business profiles may contain contact details and links to WhatsApp or other third-party services. Madinaty Deals does not control those services or messages and is not responsible for their availability, privacy practices or content.
8. Properties for sale and rent
Residents may advertise their own properties directly. Commercial real-estate agents and agencies may advertise properties for sale or rent only through the Approved Property Partner Programme, subject to verification, explicit approval, and ongoing compliance with the platform's policies. All agency listings must be clearly identified.
Approval is discretionary. We may suspend, decline to renew, or revoke it for serious complaints, misleading or duplicate advertisements, unauthorised photographs, stale inventory, abuse, or other policy violations. Agencies remain responsible for the accuracy, legality, authority to advertise, photographs, price and availability of every listing, must disclose all applicable brokerage fees or commissions, and must update or remove unavailable property within 24 hours of learning of the change.
Agency listings must be reconfirmed at least every seven days and may be hidden automatically after fourteen days without reconfirmation. The Founding Approved Property Partner pilot is temporary, initially free, carries zero platform commission and no exclusivity, and does not guarantee perpetual free participation or automatic renewal.
An Approved Property Partner badge confirms only that the agency was verified and approved to participate in the programme. It is not a guarantee or endorsement of any property, price, ownership, seller, buyer, landlord, tenant, agency or transaction. Madinaty Deals does not become a party to a sale or rental agreement and does not guarantee performance by any participant. Existing reporting, moderation, privacy and platform-safety protections continue to apply.
9. Safety and transactions
Users must make their own checks before paying, sharing personal information or agreeing to a service. For goods, meet in a sensible public place, inspect the item and confirm ownership where relevant. For services, agree on scope and price in writing. Never share passwords or one-time passwords and be cautious with deposits and unexpected payment links.
Madinaty Deals is not a party to user transactions and does not guarantee that a user, listing, business, product or service is genuine, safe, available, lawful, suitable or accurately described. Report suspicious content through the Platform or the contact details shown above.
10. Paid postings and Elite Ads
We may offer monthly business placements, promoted listings and Elite Ads, including a premium homepage placement sold by the day. The applicable price, placement, duration and payment instructions will be shown or agreed before activation.
A paid placement improves visibility but does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee results. We may reject, pause or remove paid content that violates these Terms or applicable law. Unless a separate written policy says otherwise, fees for a placement that has started are non-refundable where removal is caused by the advertiser’s breach. Payment-provider terms may also apply.
11. Payments and advertiser accounts
For manual payment methods such as InstaPay or Vodafone Cash, an advertiser must use the assigned advertiser ID and provide the transaction reference. A payment is treated as received only after we verify it against the relevant account or payment-provider dashboard. Sending a screenshot alone does not prove settlement.
We may pause a subscription, promoted listing or Elite Ad after the applicable due date and grace period. Advertisers must not misrepresent a payment, reverse a payment improperly or use another advertiser’s reference.
12. Intellectual property
The Platform, its software, layout, branding, logos, original text, graphics and other materials belong to Madinaty Deals or its licensors. We give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable permission to use the Platform for its intended personal or authorised business purpose. You may not copy, resell, scrape, reproduce, modify, frame or commercially exploit the Platform without written permission.
13. Reports, removal and account termination
You may report a listing, image, message or account that you believe violates these Terms. We may investigate and take action at our discretion. We are not required to disclose confidential detection methods or another user’s personal information.
We may restrict, suspend or terminate access, remove User Content, or stop a paid placement immediately where we believe there is a safety, legal, fraud, security, payment or Terms violation, or where necessary to protect the Platform and its users. Termination does not cancel obligations that arose before termination.
14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Platform is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Madinaty Deals makes no warranty that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate or suitable for a particular purpose, and does not endorse third-party User Content.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Madinaty Deals will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or lost-profit damages arising from use of the Platform, User Content, third-party services or user transactions. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Indemnity
You agree to compensate and protect Madinaty Deals, its operators and service providers against claims, losses, costs and reasonable legal expenses arising from your User Content, your transaction, your misuse of the Platform, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law, to the extent permitted by law.
16. Governing law and contact
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, subject to any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law. Any dispute should first be raised with us using the contact details below so that we can attempt to resolve it.

These Terms, together with any feature-specific terms and the Privacy Notice, form the agreement governing use of Madinaty Deals. If a court finds one provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
